Term Insurance is also known as risk insurance.  These type of plans are offered for a term of 20 years, or up to age 65, 70 or age 80.  Policy holder will have coverage during the term chosen.  These plans are usually applied for to be used as collateral for a mortgage loan or any other type of loan.  The plan can also offer the policy holder to build a savings.  The plan also offers the Life Protector plan which can be combined with the Term/Risk coverage or apart.

A form of life insurance that pays the face value to the insured either at the end of the contract period or upon the insured's death. This is in contrast to life insurance, which pays the face value only in the event of the insured's death.

Whole life insurance, also known as traditional life insurance, provides permanent death benefit coverage for the life of the insured. In addition to paying a death benefit, whole life insurance also contains a savings component in which cash value may accumulate, which gives the insured the possibility of taking a loan out of the cash value.
